MY LES MIS FACTS:
1. I've never seen Les Mis live and this hurts. I'm a very unhappy person.
2. I'm in thins fandom since February 2013 and I joined it after watching the musical movie in the cinema.
3. The only other version I've seen is the one from 25th anniversary (but I'm going to see also the Polish version soon).
4. My favourite characters are (because you can't simply just pick one, right?): Enjolras, Grantaire, Jehan and Gavroche.
5. I don't really have the least favourite character, but I don't like Montparnasse, Claquesous, Babet and all the Thenardier gang.
6. My favourite scene in the movie was Lamarque's funeral and my favourite song is "Do You Hear The People Sing?".
7. The best recording in my opinion is that French one from 1980 (Original French Concept).
8. I started learning French because of Les Miserables.
9. I've got my own cockade and a big French flag in my room.
10. I can't finish the 4th book, because the barricade fell and I just can't get myself to read the remaining part.

Nope. My friends hate me because of Les Mis. I don't have any friends now. (okay, I've got friends, but they hate me still, so...)
8. In your opinion, should Javert be included in the musical/musical movie Finale, or is it good he's not there? Explain your opinion.
I don't really know! I mean... it's good he's not there, but he wasn't a black character in Les Mis, he was just certain he's doing good things. So yes, it's good he's not in the Finale, but if he actually was included, I wouldn't mind.
9. Do you have a favourite quote from Les Mis the novel or any of the adaptations?
From the novel, yes, but it's a long quote and it's Enjolras' speech in the 4th book. It made my cry.
And from the musical: Let others rise to take our place until the Earth is free! and To love another person is to see the face of God.
10. Who is your favourite Enjolras – and why?
Aaron Tveit, forever and always. He's charismatic, passionate, emotional and has the looks for this character. That's why. I love this man.

i'm writing only to ask you to take a moment and aprecciate marius pontmercy. he was a good young man, who went through many horrible things and his past was freakin' awful. do i need to remind you that his mother died and he didn't know her, his father loved him, but couldn't take care of him because of monsieur gillenormand, plus he never get a chance to even meet his father. also, all of his friends died in a terrible, terrible way and the only thing that left for him was cosette. and probably she was the only thing that kept him alive, i mean jesus christ, imagine all of that happens to you. i couldn't bare it. without paren

My thoughts on 'Catching Fire'.
Let's start with Johanna Mason, just because.
Well, I don't know, it's only my opinion, but for me she was absolutely brilliant as Johanna and I take my hat off to Jena Malone. For me she portrayed this character just right, and I dare to say that she did even more for her. I liked Johanna in a book, but somehow she wasn't a person I'd like to be friends with, I don't know why. Of course it's not because she was too harsh or agry or whatever (oh my God, every person in her situation would be like that, maybe even worse). Anyway, after watching 'Catching Fire' twice in two days, I absolutely love this character, I love her, she was magnificen

Interesting that you like the French Concept Album the best – I don't hear many people preferring it over others! Why is it your favourite? I've always found it interesting, but it's still a bit too far from the Les Mis I know and love that I could really call it my favourite... It has my favourite version of DYHTPS, though!
